Welcome to Mr. Steele’s Site
The Technology Education program at Penn-Trafford offers a variety of comprehensive, activity-based classes designed to enhance the students' science, technology, engineering and mathematical literacy. All of the courses are project based, integrating multiple subject areas in order to make concepts relevant and tangible to today's technological world.
My Technology Education classes have been designed to give students the chance to apply skills and knowledge in problem-solving activities that simulate real-world situations. In the middle school, students will participate in exciting learning adventures such as CO2 Vehicles, Balsa Tower Construction, Egg Crash, Inch Measurement, Alternative Energy/Balloon Vehicles, and Wind, Solar and Energy Efficiency activities. At the High school, students will participate in activities such as Mouse Trap Vehicles, CO2 Vehicles, Foam Boats/Simple Circuits, a Clock Building Activity, a Wall Construction Activity and a semester long Manufacturing Activity. At both levels the activities are designed to present students with both "hands-on" and "mind-on" learning experiences.
Thanks for Visiting,
