AP Physics C Period 1-2,3-4 February 6 – February 10

Monday – Equipotential graphs and visualizing the surfaces as contours on a map. Review concepts of electric fields and electric potential.

Tuesday – Test: Chapter 21 – 23. MC and 2 problems. Determine the capacitance of several objects and how they store charge.

HW: Web Assign Ch 24 – Due Wed 2/15, good copy due Fri 2/17

Read Section 24-1 and 24-2 for Wed

Wednesday – Review Test Chapter 21 – 23. Cylindrical capacitors and the potential energy stored in electric fields.

Thursday – Batteries, capacitors and circuits, definition of series and parallel capacitors.

HW: Read section 24-3 and 24-4 Mon

Friday – Practice problems with series and parallel capacitors and discuss the effect of dielectrics.
