CAD 1
Monday: Introduce at the beginning of class new functions Tangent, and Offset and then allow time to begin working on this weeks drawings.
Tuesday: In-service
Wednesday-Friday: Continue CAD drawings in 2D, using basic commands such as line, and circle. Also, basic CAD functions, such as zoom, save and print, as well as new functions, fillet, copy/paste, and chamfer, tangent, and offset. Continue working on and finish drawings in the Auto Cad book.
Architectural Design
Monday-Friday: Students should submit their rough sketches and plans to the teacher by Monday at the close of class.
Students will continue research and analyze human needs and wants as it pertains to garages, and different scenarios in which different types of garages might be warranted. They will use Autodesk Revit Architecture to begin to layout their garage design. This is a relatively simple project that will allow the students to become familiar with the program.
Engineering Design
Monday and Wednesday: These are the last 2 work days for the Rube Goldberg Machine.
Thursday-Friday: Students will test and modify Rube Goldberg assignments, as well as report to the class what machines they used and how they used them.
