CAD 1
Monday: Review quiz and introduce new CAD commands, Fillet, copy and paste, chamfer.
Tuesday-Friday: Continue CAD drawings in 2D, using basic commands such as line, and circle. Also, basic CAD functions, such as zoom, save and print, as well as new functions, fillet, copy/paste, and chamfer. Continue working on and finish drawings in the Auto Cad book.
Architectural Design
Monday-Tuesday: Students will be introduced to the architecture program we are planning on using which is Auto-desk Revit. They will have time to explore the program and self discover different aspects in which they will use in future projects.
Wednesday-Friday: Begin garage design project. Students will research and analyze human needs and wants as it pertains to garages, and different scenarios in which different types of garages might be warranted.
Engineering Design
Monday-Friday: Students will continue to analyze their Rube Goldberg systems in order to produce a successful model. Students will be using scrap materials from home, school, etc to produce a working Rube Goldberg experiment.
