    Week of November 21st

    CAD 1

    Monday-Wednesday: Continue CAD drawings in 2D, using basic commands such as line, and circle. Also, basic CAD functions, such as zoom, save and print, as well as new functions, fillet, copy/paste, and chamfer, tangent, and offset. Continue working on and finish drawings in the Auto Cad book. Drawing #'s 261-4, 262-6, 260-1, and 263-7 will be due by the close of class on Wednesday.


    Architectural Design

    Monday-Friday: Students will continue research and analyze human needs and wants as it pertains to garages, and different scenarios in which different types of garages might be warranted. They will use Autodesk Revit Architecture to begin to layout their garage design. This is a relatively simple project that will allow the students to become familiar with the program.


    Engineering Design

    Monday-Wednesday: Students will begin looking at alternative energy sources and formulate opinons based on information they find through research and exploration. Students will be expected to be able to describe, and possibly demonstrate the use of certain alternative energies. Students will view Documentary entitled " Who killed the electric car". This gives a sneak peak at what inventors and innovators are dealing with as far as resistance against new technologies.
