Monday-Friday: Students will continue practice of current functions until mastered. Introduce new drawings. Students should be able to proficiently use functions such as Fillet, Chamfer, Offset, Mirror, Array, Polar Tracking and Object Snaps. They will now be using these skills to successfully complete 3-view drawings of 3-D objects.

CADD 2

Monday-Friday: Students will be drawing an object of their choice with teacher approval. This will allow students to gain a grasp of what goes into the items that they use in their daily lives.

Architectural Design

Monday-Friday Students will continue Balsa wood home construction. This project will focus on proper wall construction and accurate measurement.

Engineering Design

Monday-Friday: Continue designing/innovating a prosthetic to advance the abilities that amputees have.

Monday: Bridge Reflection and wrap up.

Tuesday-Friday: We will begin to explore the world of fasteners both mechanical and chemical and their uses. Students will be asked to find examples of certain fasteners for classroom demonstration.

Monday-Friday: Finish 3D rotational drawings and begin more advanced 3D drawings using multiple UCS views and drawing planes.

Monday: Students will review 3-view drawings, they will now be asked to transfer 3 dimensional objects/images into 3-view drawings using the skills they have learned using AutoCAD.

Monday: In class we will go over and discuss the web-quests that were finished last week and how these things affect construction costs and procedures.
Tuesday-Friday: Begin exploring dream homes and begin to formulate a plan for their dream home design.

Engineering Design

Monday-Friday: Groups should be building their alternative energy sources. Students will have class time to complete this project as well as whatever resources are available here. Any other resources/materials will be supplied by the students. Students should have their projects built and began testing by Friday.
