*Please be prepared to have periodic quizzes. Your reading guide will help you prepare for any type of quiz or test. Note taking during class/class discussion is encouraged but not required. All homework is to be completed individually. No group work is permitted unless stated as such.

*Independent, ongoing note taking assignment: You have 8 categories for which you are taking notes. For categories 1-5, you must have 5 notes per reading section. As there are four reading sections, this means you will have 20 notes total for those categories. Do not forget to put page numbers. For categories 6-8, you must have 5-10 notes total by the end of the book. Do not forget to put page numbers.
