Monday: Students will complete an essay test on “The Catcher in the Rye.” They will only have this period to complete the writing process.
Tuesday-Thursday: Students will begin working on/assembling their junior presentation.
Friday: Students will begin presenting their presentations.

Monday-Wednesday: Students will learn about MLA format and Works Cited. They will have time to write and workshops their papers on these days.
Thursday: Students will begin presenting their stories to the class today. This presentation will count as their yearly speech grade as well.
Friday: Students will continue to present their stories in class.

Tuesday: Students will demonstrate general understanding of Chapter 1-15 of “The Catcher in the Rye.”
Wednesday: Students will discuss Chapters 1-15 of “The Catcher in the Rye.”
Thursday: Students will read Chapters 16 & 17 of “The Catcher in the Rye.”
Friday: Students will discuss Chapters 16 & 17 of “The Catcher in the Rye.”

Monday: Students will finish the “Keys to Work” program with guidance today.
Tuesday: Students will complete a scavenger hunt on the background information for “Romeo and Juliet.”
Wednesday: Students will read and discuss Act One of “Romeo and Juliet”.
Thursday: Students will read and discuss Act One of “Romeo and Juliet”.
Friday: Students will take their Vocabulary test 9. They will read and discuss Act Two of “Romeo and Juliet.”

Tuesday-Thursday: Students will present their debates in class.

Wednesday: Students will have today to organize their papers in class. This is the last day they will be given time in class to work on this assignment.A paper deadline will be given today. Students must finish the paper on their own.
Thursday: Students will review test-taking strategies for the PSSAs.
Friday: No School For Students!
