    3. Examples of Memoir

    Objective:

    1. Students will be able to use comprehension strategies while reading

    2. RA11. 1.3.1 Students will be able to make inferences and draw conclusions based on information from the text (Fiction)

    3.RA11.1.3.2 Students will be able to cite evidence from text to support generalizations.

    4. Students will write a Memoir

    Introduction:

    Students will begin first draft of memoir

    Teaching:

    1. Introduce Next 5 words for SAT words

    2. Students will view examples of memoirs and vivid writing that produces pictures in the reader’s head. Students need to write their memoir with so much detail that the read will be able to relive their experience.

    3. Students begin and continue to write First Draft memoir

    Closure:
