    Materials:

    Memoir

    Objective:

    1. Students will be able to use comprehension strategies while reading

    2. RA11. 1.3.1 Students will be able to make inferences and draw conclusions based on information from the text (Fiction)

    3.RA11.1.3.2 Students will be able to cite evidence from text to support generalizations.

    4. Students will study write/edit/ proofread and revise memoirs

    Introduction:

    Students will proofread and edit of memoir

    Teaching:

    1. Review Next 5 words for SAT words

    2. Students will write a memoir using vivid writing that produces pictures in the reader’s head. Students need to write their memoir with so much detail that the read will be able to relive their experience.

    3. Teachers will hold writing conference with each student

    Independent

    4. Students begin and continue editing and proofreading First Draft memoir
